I know I have seen people refer to it on here and just cannot find the link. I believe it shows that players have signed in a league but not usually what team. Anybody know what I am refering to?
Player's you'd like to see return?

Just wanted to see everyone's thought's on who you'd all like to see return for next year. I know Mac won't keep em all.. That's just how this biz works.

Thoughts? Who's gonna stay & who's gonna go?

IMO, the one's i think will get resigned are:
-Mohr
-Summers
-Flath
-Robinson
-Lizon
-Wight
-Russo
-Tetrault.
& Possibly Chappell.. depending on what the Rangers do with his expired contract.
& Donaghy, possibly?? (Thoughts?)

Greene.. he's improving, but will count as a Vet next season, and i personally don't think Mac would waste a vet spot on 'em. Hopefully he'll find another home. I can see Mac resigning Lizon. Realistically, every team needs an enforcer. And IMO you won't find a better one at this level than Erick.

Players that have a good chance at being gone are:
-Sawyer
-Davis (Will more than likely retire)
-Beau
-Bourret
-Greene
-Possibly Donaghy..

Goaltending wise, Roos already said he wanted to stay. I'm happy with that. He needs to work on positioning and speed throughout this offseason. I can see him being a wall next season if he improved alittle this offseason. As for Hogan.. He's good.. yeah.. But personally i think Mac can find a better backup, or even a goaltender good enough to make Russo the backup. With his connections and how far we've gone this season, i can garuntee the interest level of a high caliber player would be quite high. So i'm sure he can find some darn good players to replace the ones we lose.

Great Season

This wasn't the outcome everyone was dreaming of, but there is absolutely nothing for Thunder fans to be ashamed of right now. This was an outstanding year through and through, and arguably one of the top three or four in the franchise's 20-year history.

If last season was a step in the right direction, then this season was like running a country mile. As several have recently pointed out, the combination of a committed ownership group and the best coach in the league has re-established the Thunder as a true powerhouse. If this tandem remains intact, the Thunder will be a legitimate championship contender EVERY YEAR. Think about that for a second. Two years ago, this team sank to the lowest of lows. It suffered an historically bad season, had virtually no returnable talent, and was without a coach. Today, the Thunder are undisputed Berry Conference champions, and have given fans every reason to be excited about their immediate and long-term futures.

The Thunder's name will always be attached to the 2012 finals, and no one can ever take that away from them. That is something special and something to be proud of. Five games is not the measuring stick with which to judge the previous 77. If the Thunder continues to make the playoffs every year, winning the cup will take care of itself. This team is very close to approaching the dynastic level of Colorado and Laredo during the mid- to late-2000's.

Honestly, Fort Wayne winning hurts far more than Wichita losing. As nauseating as Missouri's fans are to interact with, I still have a lot of respect for their organization and employees. I can't say the same for the Komets. Between their racially insensitive broadcaster, the way they treated a friend of mine who used to play for the Thunder, Nick Boucher's obscene gestures during last year's brawl, and the organization's general sense of entitlement, I despise the Komets more than any other team in the league. I guess those are the breaks, though, and thankfully we'll never have to worry about them again.

I do want to give a big shout out to Chris Ross, Squid Ink Creative, and everyone who played a part in the Thunder's game operations this season. I know this was a point of contention among fans last year, so these people really deserve a lot of credit for stepping up and creating an atmosphere where fans can enjoy themselves win or lose. Most everyone here is a die-hard, but quality game operations go a long way in making sure first-time fans come back for seconds and thirds--and eventually become die-hards themselves.

The Thunder has a serious chance of winning Franchise of the Year, and while winning the cup is always the number one goal, this would be a tremendous honor for players, staff, and fans alike. You cannot win this award without excelling in every facet of the operation, and it is something the entire community would have played a part in. In the past year, we've seen a dramatic spike in attendance, an increase in sponsorships, and a major marketing presence, all of which helped make this year so memorable.

Ultimately, this team was done in by bad luck that came at the worst possible time. Russo and Bourret are integral pieces that are close to irreplaceable, and had they been healthy, the series surely would have at least made it's way back to Wichita. Someone mentioned collective fatigue from crashing and banging so hard over the last several months, and I think there is some truth to that theory as a contributing factor. Combine this with a couple of great players who ran into untimely dry spells, and you start to understand why things turned out the way they did.

As far as next year, there is no doubt this team will be at or near the top of the standings again. Coach has plenty of core talent to choose from, and it seems like a good number of them would like to return. And don't forget: there are probably dozens of elite-caliber players we've never heard of that have already called Mac to express their interest in playing for him.

October will be here before you know it. This is a season to be proud of and a team to be proud of!

Who would you guys like to see return? what do you think this can team improve on. I personally think we had a great team this year and I would like to see very few changes to the roster. The one Thing I think the teams needs for next season is a few more solid stay at home defenseman.

What can I say that everybody already doesn’t know? We are down 2-0 in the series. We need this one and I know we can do it. To be honest, I wanted us to lose two games. Not the first two, but two all the same. The reason I say this is because I am being selfish and didn’t want the Thunder winning the Championship away from home. It needs to be done in front of their home crowd!

If we could work on fixing one thing, it would be the power play. If we can get this clicking, I have no doubt it will lead to victories.

The Thunder will play their game and win 4-3.

My dream finals

This is the best possible finals I could ask for. The first team I every saw play hockey live (Fort Wayne) against the team I've watched for the last twenty years (Wichita). This should be a great series. Two skilled and tough teams playing for the championship. My family still sponsors the "Mr. Hustle" award for the Komets and my Great Aunt and Uncle were 2nd on the season ticket holder priority list when they passed away a few years back (They had season tickets since the first season the Komets played back in '52) and my family still has season tickets with the K's today. This is simply the best hockey matchup the CHL could ask for, from a pure hockey tradition standpoint (The Komets are celebrating their 60th anniversary, the Thunder their 20th). They're both similar teams, the kind of teams Shedden would have if he were still coaching in the CHL.

Should be a great series, I would expect some sort of brawl during one of the games. You've got two great goalies, solid D, and good offensive talent. This will be a much more exciting series than if we played the very soft Mav's. It will come down to whichever team plays the best will win. My breakdown:

Wings: Slight advantage Thunder, if Davis and Greene can play
Defense: Slight advantage Thunder
Goalies: Advantage Thunder

The Thunder in six. If the Thunder win the first two games at home, they will win.

Al?

RLR

7:05pm (CST) @ Intrust Bank Arena

The battle of the Number One's takes place in Wichita on April 28th for the CHL Championship. The Turner Confernce number one seed, Fort Wayne (40-19-7 / 8-5) will take on Berry Conference number one seed Wichita (44-19-3 / 8-3) for Game 1. The Komets came off a 6 - 4 victory against the Mavericks in Game 7 on April 26th. They now have 14 hours of travel ahead of them before taking the ice. The Thunder were 2-0 against the Komets in the regular season, with the last game going to a shootout. This will not be easy, there is a reason they were number one in their conference.

The Komets are good at blocking shots (like Texas). "Our key is to try and force it to their point men and then our wingers get in shooting lanes and try and block shots, and then maybe get offense off those blocks." - Coach Al Sims from the journalgazette.net. Fort Wayne also has speed which they use for their breakouts and back pressure. This could put our defense to the test.

The key for Wichita is to put pressure on Vaskivuo, Risk and Auger. The Thunder also needs to get traffic in front of the net. A dirty goal counts just the same as a pretty goal. We need to continue to play Thunder hockey - a fast and physical game. Finally, stay out of the penalty box. Even though we have the most shorthanded goals in the playoffs, we a playing against a fast team.

I think Wichita will take this one 4 - 2.
