Apparently we are 5-2 in the playoffs, says the CHL website. And here I thought we were up on the Brahmas 2-0, I guess we're tied 1-1...

Very cool facts including two records!
-Wichita has five shorthanded goals in this year’s post-season. The CHL record for SHG’s in one post-season is eight set by Oklahoma City in 1999. -The seven-goal second period in Sunday’s 8-1 win marks the most goals in a single period in the 20 year history of the CHL playoffs. -Jarred Mohr’s +6 plus/minus rating in Sunday’s win ties the CHL record for highest plus/minus in a single CHL post-season game (Steve Weidlich-Laredo, 1994). Looks like they read emails and make corrections.
Series Notes: -The Thunder gave up the first goal on both Friday night and Sunday afternoon against the Brahmas making it seven straight games in the post-season that Wichita has allowed the first goal. It hasn’t dampened their wins and losses as they are 6-1 through their first seven games. |
