Very sad story....
The Quad City Mallards Booster Club raised $5,200 last month to help defenseman Matt Duffy and his fiancee Jenna Nappi defray the medical costs from a two-week hospitalization of newborn daughter Brielle. Born in early March, the baby was transferred to University of Iowa hospitals dealing with a trio of major medical issues. Two benign tumors on the newborn's heart were removed. Two blood vessels leading to the brain were determined to be too narrow, sparking blood clotting worries, and a sore on the baby's throat also had been partially blocking the air passage. http://www.centralhockeyleague.com/pressro...article_id=8261 |
