I am not sure why everyone is so happy and taking a victory lap. The guys should prepare for a war because Texas will be hard to beat. BUT the Thunder will get the job done!

Should be a good series! Only thing that worries me a little bit is there new goalie Brad Fogal that took over for Guggenberger in the middle of that series! He has played solid since he has taken over and i'm sure he will start in game 1.

We got our wish, time to face the Brahma's. That was a very good final game, I thought Allen might be able to tie it up towards the end, but Texas pulled through. Fogal was good in goal. Looking forward to Friday!

I actually think Texas will be a tougher team to beat then Allen would have been. All but 1 game was a 1 goal game between the teams. The way they play seems to give us trouble at times. Their defensive style is boring, but works. Should be a good series, Thunder in 6.

I agree that Texas will be tough but this is the conference finals any team we played would have been tough.. Just in my opinion we will handle them easier than we would have Allen. I think it will go atleast 6 and maybe 7 but we will pull through.

agreed it was a good night for the thunder even though they didn't play but can't get to excited still games left to be played.. obviously the other 3 teams still left are still playing for a reason can't take any of them for granted... That being said i'm starting to smell what i think we have all wanted since the start of the season hell even since the off season maybe.. A thunder - donkey's final!

Texas is for sure a team that worries me. the reason is Defense. Defense wins championships and the thunder has stuggled the most this year in games when the opponent has slowed down the pace of the game and controled our zone breakouts and clogged up the nuteral zone. Texas is masters at this type of game. We are going to have to come out hitting and physical and force them to play our style.

Just do me one thing, bet the live crap out fo the cows. I can not stand one thing about them. When the Thunder play games 3 and 4 down here I will be there in my Thunder Sweater cheering them on.
Fogal is a solid tender, shoot high on him he drop down all the tiem. Cows are good on D and blocking passing lanes up. Just pound them into the ice.. |
