That was a pretty good brawl. And not a bad goalie fight either. But the Bakersfield goalie should've taken his helmet off.

Nice little line brawl there. I think the hit may have been a little borderline since the Ontario player didn't have his head up as he was rounding the net. Agree that the goalie should have taken his helmet off.

Since when is it the players responsibility to make sure that the other guy has his head up? Besides keeping your stick on the ice, rule number one has to be keep your head up. Just ask Eric Lindros or Paul Kariya. Don't taze me, bro!

Actually Bakersfield goalie was challenging the other goalie to fight and took everything off except for his helmet, then jumped into the fight already going on. Im not positive on this, but I think the goalie rule is alot like the visor/instigator rule in the NHL. Either way, the highlight of this video is the announcers... they should apply for the Mavs.... Suspensions from the brawl announced:
PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Monday announced the following fine and suspensions resulting from ECHL Game #414, Ontario at Bakersfield, on Jan. 28. Ontario’s Kevin Estrada has been suspended for one game under Rule #46.21 which states that any player deemed to be the instigator or aggressor of an altercation in the final five (5) minutes of regulation, or at anytime in overtime, shall be automatically suspended from his team's next game. Estrada was assessed a game misconduct for aggressor with 1:18 remaining in the third period. He will miss Ontario’s game against Alaska on Jan. 31.
