Photobucket vs. Photobucket 7:05pm (CST) @ Intrust Bank Arena

Quad City (27-20-1) is on a quest as they have yet to beat Wichita (32-13-2) in regulation play. On a side note, the Mallards are the only team to beat the Thunder in overtime and in a shootout. This game is important because it will not only gives Wichita a chance to increase their lead in the Berry Conference, but a win for Quad City can also possibly distance themselves from Rapid City (5th place) and close the gap against Missouri (3rd place).

I say the Thunder will win at home with a score of 5 - 3.

On another note...
Congratulations to RG Flath on his career-high 22 goals and to Chris Chappell on tying his career-high of 9 goals!!! And to think, the season isn't over! Keep up the hard work!

They just put that up but Bourret really needs to get that foot healed up. Injuries has really set his career back and we need to give him time to rest so he won't be out for even more time.

Agreed. Props to Alex for playing through the pain and helping the team out while they were so badly short handed. Hopefully he'll be back to 100% very soon.

Not sure... There was some heavy pressure on him and he made 2 or 3 nice saves then after that scrum he stayed on his knees and called the trainer out talked for a minute or two then he left the game.. Looked to me like it was something with his leg but i could be wrong.

Hopefully its not a groin injury...that's something he doesn't need again.

I hope that's all it is. I'd hate for it to be a groin injury! I'm sure taking a puck is painful (never had the experience), I just hope this is something that he can shake off in a couple of days.

Nope im sure there will be a back up coming in. He could barely walk after the game and it has nothing to do with getting hit with a puck. This may not be good time for this injury

Not sure what it was, but Coach was not happy when the trainer came back to the bench and told him about Hogan. I could not tell what was said but coach shook his head and did not look happy at all.

Saw the same thing, kinda looked like the trainer was pointing to his groin area... hopefully nothing too serious, but not a good time for this injury if thats what it is....

Horrible time for this injury.. Looks like Russo is going to be busy this week. Hopefully we can find a decent backup and Hogan can get healthy by the playoffs.. IF it is that bad. (99.9 percent sure it is)
