not about the Mavs- icemen game.... But am i the only one that thinks it's total B.S that Fort Wayne has to play games 1 and 2 AT Rapid when they were the number one seed and supposedly have home ice advantage? they are getting screwed

Maybe they should have had some agreement with the arena. It has happend before and I am sure it will happen again. They still get 4 home games, does not really matter if it is game 1 or 3. |

It does if you come home in an 0-2 hole.. sure they still have 4 home games but a big part of being the higher seed is getting the first games at home... It is kinda their own fault but just don't like how that works

No one wants to lose in the playoffs and even worse get sweeped. Playoffs arte all about getting hot at the right time. As far as there fans go..they are a proud bunch, just as us Thunder fans are. I remember reading a few preseason predictions on this board prior to our 9 win season and how good people thought the Thunder would be, We all wear some shade of rose colored glasses when viewing our own team. I have had no problems with Mav fans and have been to a few games in there barn. Besides what fun would hockey be without a bitter rival. I hope they get to the Finals so we can kick their butts and have bragging rights the entire off season. |

Wow Missouri winning in overtime last night to go up 3 games to nill. Game 4 set for Monday Night. And its in Missouri. That would be crazy. I figured Evansville would would at least make it a 6 game series

amen... I WANT to play Missouri.. There will be nothing sweeter than beating them in game 6 of the finals at home and watching them skate off in shame while our boys celebrate a championship!. And yes i know one game at a time but i'm not a player so i can dream lol

Evansville never really recovered since that third period where we put six goals on them to end their 10-game winning streak. There was a time this season when I thought they would go to the finals round, sure didn't see a 4-game Missouri sweep coming.
I agree about seeing Missouri in the finals (assuming we make it, knock on wood). I'm not worried about them at all, and would love to beat them in a playoff series, and being the finals would make it all the sweeter. |

Its funny you mentioned that, because I wrote that in my picks for the first round on Armchair Report . It is very interesting how that completely changed the psyche of that team, and I think its clear that they didn't have the mental toughness to overlook that and forge ahead. |
