This week looks to be bumpy. As of right now, it just looks like strong winds and hail. This pattern will last off and on all week into this weekend. If there's anything that changes to the worse, I'll post it if I have time. Get your yards done! "`The Suck Zone`. It`s the point basically when the twister... sucks you up."

WEATHER ALERT - 6/7
We can expect severe weather, large hail and possible tornadoes, in SE Kansas, NE OK and Central OK. Area of concern is east of a line from Eureka to Ark City, Including Tulsa and maybe OKC. Will probably be closer to the KS/MO line. Finally, I get to chase in Eastern Kansas for a change! "`The Suck Zone`. It`s the point basically when the twister... sucks you up."

If its going to happen there, Im SO glad its tonight and not last night. We had to make a mad dash to Tulsa yesterday.

Sorry, GDogg. I didn't get a chance to respond to your question. I was busy working.
It happened in the late evening. I didn't chase 'cause it was outside of the station's coverage area, and there was some concern SE Kansas was too capped off for storms to go. But, they did. They had torn warns North of Tulsa and in the Pittsburg KS/Joplin MO areas. But, I didn't see any reports of actual touchdowns. WI and IA took a beating, yesterday. Generally speaking, next week could have some chances...but I'm not too excited. "`The Suck Zone`. It`s the point basically when the twister... sucks you up."

Generally speaking, heads up for the weather today, especially west of ICT in Western KS and Central KS. If the clouds burn off.....
