Wow awesome comback win by Capitals over Penguins on NBC today & those Capital fans were rewarded for trudging thru two feet of snow with an overtime win to keep their teams winning streak alive at 14 in a row . Plus Crosby had two & Ovechkin had a hatrick . Awesome end to end pond hockey type game .

Caps had no answers for the Pens through the 2nd, then the Penguins decided to fall asleep in the 3rd and give up a 2 goal lead. I guess some of that may have to do with a game yesterday and a 2am arrival in Washington by bus, but you could tell the Caps just found their game. Pitt's powerplay was a joke and Fleury played a terrible game in net. Exciting game for sure, but not an ending I would have liked to see. I did get a kick out of McGuire's comment about the "great fanbase in Washington." though. A fanbase that didn't exist before 2004. I have no love for Ovechkin, but you can't deny the fact that this dude was a breath of life into a franchise that was used to seeing more opposing fans at home games back in the 90's.
Thunder fan since 92. Penguin fan since.... forever.

Yeah. That was an amazing game. Alexander O is an amazing player. He had to keep his goals lead after Crosby had him tied with the 2 early.
